STATEMENT OF FAITH
Verbal Inspiration
We believe that every word of the Old and New Testaments, in the original manuscripts, was written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that the Bible is consequently wholly without error.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that it is the only infallible rule of faith and practice. IITim. 3:16, 17; II Peter 1:20, 21; Hebrew 1:2; John 10:35; Eph. 6:17; Isa. 8:20; Psalm 119:105.
The Trinity
We believe that God is triune and that there are three eternal, co-equal divine persons in the Godhead and these three are one God. Luke 3:21, 22; I Peter 1:2; II Cor. 13:14; and Deut. 6:4.
The Person of Christ
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ and that He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin. John 1:1, 14; Luke 1:35; I Tim. 3:16; Col. 2:9.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son; regenerates the believing sinner; indwells, guides, instructs and empowers the believer for Godly living and service; and comforts the children of God. The Holy Spirit guides and gives power to the church, the body of Christ, to fulfill the Great Commission, and convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. (Acts 5:1-4, John 14:26; Acts 1:8).
Man
We Believe man was created perfect, but through Adam's disobedience, sin entered into the world and his corruption into all his posterity. God takes sin back to the womb where we were shaped in iniquity and conceived in sin (Psalm 51:5). Therefore, we are lost apart from Christ. Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (Genesis 1-3; John 3, Romans 3 and 5).
Salvation
We believe that the only way to be saved is by faith in the blood sacrifice, vicarious atonement, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Son of God. We believe in the eternal security of the saints. John 3:16; John 14:6; Eph. 2:8, 9; Acts 4:12; Acts 16:31; Roman 8:25, 26; John 10:28, 29; Heb. 7:25; I John 5:12, 13.
The Church
We believe that the church, which is the Body of Christ, began with the descent of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost; that each one who receives the Lord Jesus Christ, is indwelled by the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:1-4; John 7:39; I Cor. 12:13; Rom. 8:9-15; I John 2:27; I John 4:16.
The Lord's Return
We believe that Christ shall at any moment return in the air to rapture the saints, and that a Tribulation of seven years will occur; after which He shall come to the earth with the saints and rule for a thousand years. After this, the wicked dead shall be judged and cast into the Lake of Fire. John 14:3; Acts 1 :11; I Thess. 4:16,17; Dan. 9:27; Jude 14,15; Rev. 20:2-6,15.
Satan
We believe that Satan is a angel, the author of the fall of mankind and that he shall be eternally punished. Gen. 3:15; Job 1:6, 7; Rev. 20:2, 10.
